Doña Ana County Man, 32, Booked on Felony Federal Transfer Charge

Allegedly... Abel Pena-lopez, 32, was booked into the Doña Ana County Detention Center on Oct. 26, 2026. Records indicate he was processed under booking number 2600008661 on a felony charge categorized as all other offenses. He is currently being held without bond following an arrest at a federal transfer location. A federal transfer booking typically signifies that an individual is being moved between jurisdictions or held on behalf of federal authorities within a local facility. The specific underlying allegations for the federal hold are not detailed in the local booking record, which serves as an administrative log of his entry into the county detention system. The charges are allegations, and Pena-lopez is presumed innocent unless and until a court finds otherwise.
