Las Cruces Woman, 19, Booked on Felony Shooting and Conspiracy Charges

Allegedly... Amriss Silva, a 19-year-old resident of Las Cruces, was booked into the Doña Ana County Detention Center on Nov. 11, 2025. She faces multiple felony charges including shooting at a house, dwelling, or vehicle and conspiracy to commit a fourth-degree felony. Records show she was also booked for failure to comply with conditions of release, with the primary arrest occurring at 1505 La Fonda. She is currently held without bond under booking number 2500009169. According to news reports from the Albuquerque Journal, Silva was charged in connection with an alleged drive-by shooting at the residence of her child's father. The investigation into the incident resulted in charges of shooting from a motor vehicle and shooting at a dwelling or occupied building, along with two counts of conspiracy. The arrest followed a separate contact with law enforcement at a location on Copper Loop. The charges are allegations, and Amriss Silva is presumed innocent unless and until a court finds otherwise.
