Las Cruces Man, 25, Booked on Felony Charge Following Subway Robbery

Allegedly... Angelo Rey Espinosa, 25, of Las Cruces, was booked into the Doña Ana County Detention Center on Aug. 5, 2025. He was processed under booking number 2500006562 on a felony charge of all other offenses following an arrest in Las Cruces. Records indicate that no bond has been set at this time. According to news reports, Espinosa was one of two suspects detained shortly after a reported robbery at a local Subway restaurant. Court and news records show that Espinosa and a co-defendant were apprehended by authorities within minutes of the incident and were subsequently charged with third-degree felony robbery. The charges are allegations, and Espinosa is presumed innocent unless and until a court finds otherwise.
