Las Cruces Man, 21, Booked on Felony Court Commitment for Drive-by Shooting Case

Allegedly... Anthony Espana, a 21-year-old resident of Las Cruces, was booked into the Doña Ana County Detention Center on April 27, 2026. Espana was taken into custody at 201 W. Picacho Ave. on a felony court commitment charge. He is currently being held without bond under booking number 2600003347. According to news reports, Espana is the fourth individual charged in connection with a drive-by shooting investigation in Las Cruces.
