Las Cruces Man, 37, Convicted and Sentenced in Federal Firearms Case

Antonio Herrera, 37, of Las Cruces, was booked into the Doña Ana County Detention Center on Aug. 10, 2026. Records indicate he was processed under booking number 2600006382 on a felony charge of breaking and entering following an arrest at Bataan Memorial West. He was held without bond at the facility. According to federal court and news records, Herrera, also identified as Anthony J. Herrera, pleaded guilty to being a felon in possession of a firearm.
