Las Cruces Man, 29, Booked on Felony Drug Possession and Warrant Charges

Allegedly... Blas Urrutia, a 29-year-old resident of Las Cruces, was booked into the Doña Ana County Detention Center on June 12, 2026. Records indicate he was arrested at 2010 Wisconsin on one felony count of possession of methamphetamine along with four misdemeanor counts of failure to appear. Urrutia is currently being held without bond under booking number 2600004808. According to news and arrest records, Urrutia has been the subject of prior law enforcement contact in the region. A City of Las Cruces police arrest blotter noted he was previously taken into custody on Feb. 8, 2025, on an outstanding warrant.
