Roswell Man, 36, Booked Into Doña Ana County on Federal Transfer

Allegedly... Christopher Servantez, 36, of Roswell, was booked into the Doña Ana County Detention Center on Oct. 31, 2025. Records show he was admitted to the facility on a federal transfer under booking number 2500008915. He is currently held without bond on a felony charge categorized as all other offenses. According to news reports, Servantez was arrested in connection with the New Year's Day 2025 shooting death of Marco Antonio Munoz. Investigators charged him with first-degree murder, being a felon in possession of a firearm, and tampering with evidence following the fatal incident in Roswell. The transfer to the Doña Ana facility follows these initial proceedings in Chaves County. The charges are allegations, and Servantez is presumed innocent unless and until a court finds otherwise.
