Las Cruces Man, 26, Booked on Felony Warrant Related to Prison Stabbing Case

Allegedly... Fabian Marcos Bojorquez, a 26-year-old resident of Las Cruces, was booked into the Doña Ana County Detention Center on Sept. 7, 2026. He is currently held on a $20,000 bond following his transfer from the Sierra County Detention Center in Truth or Consequences. The booking, assigned number 2600007115, lists a felony charge for failure to appear. According to court and news records, Bojorquez is accused of stabbing another inmate eight times during a November 2025 incident at the Southern New Mexico Correctional Facility. While a judge previously denied a motion for pretrial detention in the stabbing case, this recent booking follows a warrant for failing to appear in court.
