Las Cruces Woman, 23, Booked on Fugitive and Failure to Appear Warrants

Allegedly... Isabella Hope Sanchez, a 23-year-old resident of Las Cruces, was booked into the Doña Ana County Detention Center on Sept. 15, 2026. She faces felony charges including being a fugitive from justice and failure to appear. Records indicate she was taken into custody at 8920 Erickson Road and is currently held with a $20,000 bond for the failure to appear count and no bond for the fugitive status. According to news reports, Sanchez was arrested by Mesilla Marshals following a high-speed pursuit that began near Cielo Vista and concluded in the Las Cruces area. Court and news records show the incident involved a stolen vehicle, leading to additional allegations of receiving a stolen car. The pursuit ended with the apprehension of two suspects who were subsequently transported to the county detention facility. The charges are allegations, and Isabella Hope Sanchez is presumed innocent unless and until a court finds otherwise.
