Anthony Man, 24, Booked on Aggravated Assault and Fleeing Charges

Allegedly... Isaiah Gomez, a 24-year-old resident of Anthony, New Mexico, was booked into the Doña Ana County Detention Center on Aug. 3, 2026. Gomez faces multiple charges including felony aggravated assault, aggravated fleeing from an officer, and a court commitment. He is currently being held without bond under booking number 2600006142 following a transfer from the El Paso Jail. According to news reports and court records, the charges stem from an incident at a park in La Union where Gomez allegedly fired a pellet gun. During the subsequent law enforcement response, he was accused of kicking a deputy while being taken into custody. The records also list additional counts for reckless driving and failure to pay fines associated with a Las Cruces address. The charges are allegations, and Gomez is presumed innocent unless and until a court finds otherwise.
