Las Cruces Man, 43, Booked on Aggravated Dwi and Open Container Charges

Allegedly... Ismael Moreno, a 43-year-old resident of Las Cruces, was booked into the Doña Ana County Detention Center on Sept. 17, 2026. He faces misdemeanor charges of aggravated driving while under the influence and possession of an open container. The booking, assigned number 2600007484, followed an arrest at the intersection of Holman Road and Arroyo Road in Las Cruces. Under New Mexico law, an aggravated DWI charge typically involves a blood alcohol content of 0.16 or higher, or a refusal to submit to chemical testing following an arrest.
