Moriarty Woman, 43, Booked on Felony Court Commitment Charge

Allegedly... Kasidy J. Espana, a 43-year-old resident of Moriarty, New Mexico, was booked into the Doña Ana County Detention Center on Oct. 2, 2026. Registered under booking number 2600007944, she faces a felony charge of court commitment. The record indicates she was taken into custody at the Northwest New Mexico Correctional Facility and is currently being held without bond. A court commitment charge typically involves a judicial order requiring an individual to be detained in a correctional facility, often related to a transfer between institutions or a specific court-ordered hold. The involvement of the Northwest New Mexico Correctional Facility suggests a jurisdictional transfer to Doña Ana County for further legal proceedings. The charges are allegations, and Espana is presumed innocent unless and until a court finds otherwise.
