Mesilla Park Man, 44, Booked on Felony Charges in Las Cruces

Allegedly... Kenneth Manuel Aguirre, 44, of Mesilla Park, was booked into the Doña Ana County Detention Center on Aug. 13, 2025. Records indicate he was processed under booking number 2500006788 following an arrest at 2865 W. Amador. He is currently held without bond on a felony charge categorized as all other offenses. According to news reports from the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Aguirre faces federal charges including possession with intent to distribute more than 40 grams of fentanyl and three counts of being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition. Court records show the allegations involve conduct occurring on the date of his booking in Doña Ana County, which also includes a charge for carrying a firearm during and in relation to a drug trafficking crime. The charges are allegations, and Aguirre is presumed innocent unless and until a court finds otherwise.
