El Paso Woman, 31, Booked in Las Cruces on Drug Possession and Probation Violation

Allegedly... Micheala B. McBurrows, 31, of El Paso, Texas, was booked into the Doña Ana County Detention Center on Nov. 19, 2025. The booking record lists four charges stemming from an arrest in the 2900 block of North Main Street: felony possession of a controlled substance, a felony probation violation, and misdemeanor counts of shoplifting under $100 and concealing identity. Cash-only bonds were set at $1,500 each on three charges, with no bond allowed on the probation violation. McBurrows has previously been named in Las Cruces-area enforcement reporting. According to a May 2025 announcement from local radio station Hot 103, she was among nine people arrested on warrants at a Lyon Place home during the first week of Operation Not in Vain, a multi-agency initiative in memory of Las Cruces police officer Jonah Hernandez, who was killed in the line of duty in February 2024. The charges in the current booking are allegations; McBurrows is presumed innocent unless and until a court finds otherwise.
