Mexico Man, 27, Booked on Felony Charge at Doña Ana County Detention Center

Allegedly... Rusbel Lopez-velazquez, a 27-year-old resident of Mexico, was booked into the Doña Ana County Detention Center on Aug. 4, 2026. He is being held under booking number 2600006185 on a felony charge categorized as all other offenses. Records show he was processed at the facility's cell block and is currently held without bond. The specific nature of the felony charge falls under a broad classification used by the New Mexico judicial system to categorize various statutory violations. The arrest location within the detention facility suggests the booking may involve a transfer of custody or an incident occurring within the jurisdiction of the county sheriff. No further details regarding the underlying incident were included in the initial jail roster. The charges are allegations, and Lopez-velazquez is presumed innocent unless and until a court finds otherwise.
